Update: it's now 2025 and we have a new 26 foot custom center console that has 10 swivel rod holders. We have all the stuff to catch gaint tuna, and itsnice to know with the abundance of gaint Tuna in area for the last three years that montauk is once again the sports fishing capital of the world. I can put you on a Mako shark tuna, giant striped bass and an abundance of bottom fish including huge black fish, sea bass, Blue Fish all on the same day. Don't take my word. That's me last year 2023, not pretty, but the fish is. 92 pound blue fin tuna. . All pictures on this site are from 2023....what's the point of viewing old picks, from past year? I won't take you if i don"t think you will catch a lot of fish. My customers come for food:fresh fish.
For years as a guide in Montauk I guaranteed a 40 pound striped bass on night trips or trip was free; I never had to give away trip.
I have fished Montauk Now for 25 years. I am also on fishbooker.com. I'm one of the top, part-time 4 man charter boats in Montauk. There are nicer boats. Mine is a narrow and loud diesel. ( I can direct you to quitter cleaner boats.) MY only goal is to bend the rods and fill coolers. NO captain in Montauk knows the tides like I do( by-the-way- useless info in my opinion, id rather know stuff about the stock market or building houses then I would have to be making this stupid site) anyway, I was a night time bass fisherman for 25 years in Montauk, 100 night a year , every year. That's ALL I did. Im not proud; its just a fact. I did not go bars , or parties. All I did was fish at night ....and got good at catching huge striped bass, but know matter how good we think we are the fish.. The fish are the true stars of the show, with out them i am nothing. we must respect them.

The marine life off Montauk has been amazing..esp Whales! in September im one of the only boats that only targets specifically Mahi Mahi..a tropical fish that is abundant sometimes as close as 20 miles off the beach.. we fill coolers! Look at the picture Gallery all fish are from last season. I keep the price as low as possible ($200 a man inshore) because it's a small no- thrills boat. but we do have a bean bag.There much nicer boats in Montauk, but my Three Sons is fast @16 knots cruise..
I've placed in several tournaments over the years, Won White water Marines in shore division, and last year 2023 won the charter boat Black fish division in MAC fall Derby. ( 10.2 pounds)
I can also come on your boat and turn you into a fishing machine in no time... I wish i did that, rather then learn things the Hard way.

I use a 1993, 26 foot sturdy/proven Shamrock cudy cabin. With a 2003 Yanmar diesel. With fair conditions boat cruises at a real 16 knots, in bad weather she will get us home dry at 12knots..this is a lot faster than most charter boats , that cruise at 10 knots. I can get to Block island where the fish are in 45 minutes.
I fish early in April for black fish and cod, and late into December for Black fish, Sea bass and cod. Summer huge striped bass,fluke, sea bass occasionally tuna.
